Well earlier today I decided I wanted to try to bring to life the way I imagined an Alien born predator would look like..I tried to keep true to a biomechanical look for the aliens, while bringing in a certain fleshy/bony look as well. Its not the best, but its my first attempt...its also unfinished..But I wanted to share it and see what people think.

Maybe more of an "action" pose. Have it be forced perspective, and shading. Other than that...nice work.
almost nothing from predator design
very nice. but i have a secret to share with you, my early alien desighns were based on that pic, it was the easyest one i could get for thebasic out lines. lol. nice work
Actualy for the basics oh him I used the McFalane toy. I also used the predator 2 toy to figure out what body structure changes should be made. The only thing that really effected was the head though. Then the rest I kinda used different alien movie designs while doing things my own way.
wow!!! now that looks like an alien, not meanin any offence but if you didnt have the topic as "my Predalien" at first glimpse i would have thouht that was a alien, but it probaby looks clearer up close, well anyway keep up the good work....and diggin the biomechanical design.

Its a work in progress, but I scanned it online for a friend and figured I should post it.
Despite it not being finished, what does everyone think? Im pretty pleased with the way this concept is going..To me it is much more accurate of how I picture the predalien in my mind.
Well, its been a while..but heres my latest art thats woth sharing. Its my take on a juvinille pachycephasaurus. Let me now what you think..also feel free to comment on my last predalien since I never did get any critique on it. =P

Wow there's a lot of improvement between your first predalien to this one. I also like that you added shading and how it takes on the biomechanical structure of the alien. ..Nice pencil work with the pachy. I especially like the shading job around the beak.
