Okay, sorry if this belongs in the general dis. section, but I thought it should be here.
On several other forums, each month ( or week), they select a member. This member is interviewed by a MOD, about why they're interested in the sites theme, and random questions about the member ... Why not do it here?
Sounds like an okay idea but like 2/3 of our members never post....
Well obviously they'd only pic the active ones. ::)
And this is a frakking awesome idea! I love it! I fully support this, and really hope this has a chance of coming to fruition.

I say month if it was a week then we would cover all the active members in half a year
Yeah, it would be best just to interview the more active users. Instead of the once a week types; that would just slow things down.

These sound great. I just think there should be a few personalized to the members. Just my opinion
I think it should flow out. The same template for all interviews would get repetitive. I would want something... custom from each member. Depending from the replies there we have new questions, etc.
I agree with that. Granted our responses will ve varied but many of us have questions to specific members, and questions specifically directed at us.

I know it isn't top priority, but, I feel that this is a really fun addition to the site.
I think the start should be questions that one would like to ask someone, i think maybe that 10 to 15 questions sounds reasonable enough, so i'll start with a question that I think is reasonable to ask, and then maybe each of us from here on out can add a question to a list (which I will start with this post), and then once we have a ton of those, i guess someone can then choose 10 to 15 of those, and just interview the featured member of the day, week, or whatever.

This seems like a nice idea. Together with the podcast this gives more "personality" to the site. Too bad its abandoned (I think...). If anything I could help, just let me know.
It's on hiatus currently. I know it only sounds like a small thing to do, but I have very little time at home at the moment as we have a move coming up. And I was also thinking it may be cool to try and tie it into the podcast as well, but that's Hick's shout ultimately. If anyone wants to take this and do it, be my guest, all I ask is that you do Predben first.
What would it involve doing? Just making a template of 20 questions and then dishing it out to selected members? Or member specific questions?
