A few weeks ago I had posted that I have a crappy part-time job at Blockbuster and broke the news first about the release date of Predators being Oct 19. No one noticed because i put it in the existing thread about the DVD/Blu-ray and it got lost in the shuffle!
Anyway despite the job being somewhat crappy and low paying I do get to watch movies before they are released to the public so here are some pics of the Predators DVD and Blu-Ray rental copies we got yesterday. I do have to say the Blu-ray looks much better than the grainy screencaps that have been posted around here. If I had a Blu-ray drive on my comp I would take some screenshots but oh well. The screenshots I posted were only the 4GB file version of Predators, I can only imagine how amazing the 50GB blu-ray version is going to be like lol ;D

I was laying around in bed this morning watching the DVD (too lazy to get up and go into the living room to turn on the Blu-Ray!) and I thought some of you guys might like to have a look at the menu. So here it is in very low quality!

I have some questions....
does the blu-ray disc give you the option of regular compressed stero sound instead of the ULTRA high pitch HD sound? How clear is the quality btw? Do the night scenes and black colors hold up well?
i just want to know how are the motion comics.

Are you buying the DVD? Because if you buy the DVD and rent the Blu-Ray for 5 bucks, you could have paid the same price to just own the far superior Blu-Ray.
