Due to the fact Robert Rodriguez has been talking about producing a sequel and early reviews have been positive, what would be a Good Name for a Predators sequel? It may be too early to speculate but who cares...But we all know Predator 2 can't be a title so here are my possible ones.

Predators: resurrection kind of like alien resurrection was the fourth alien movie, and this is would be the fourth pred movie.

Through the countless posts on this subject, it seems the general consenses is that "PREDATORS: BAD BLOOD" would be a suiting title for the Predators sequel. I mean, I've literally seen it posted dozens of times by numerous people. And I'm right there with them, "Bad Blood" all the way.

No it doesnt make more sense. Not this shit again, jesus. He IGNORED it. He didnt NEGATE its existence or ERASE any of the events of Predator 2 because nothing in the movie contradicted P2. He simply chose to have no links to it because he disliked it.
No filmmaker has the right to erase other filmmakers efforts simply by stating "my film is the real sequel". Unless Fox release something that says Predator 2 never happened and we are removing it from canon I wont hear another thing about it. Predators is the third movie. End of.

We all know that he has had creative control, we all know that there are videos of him on Youtube saying that Predator 2 is also ignored, he wrote the script, he had over-seen the project, he got the final say.
Somewhere on this site is a video saying that he has contemplated the working title for the possible sequel as either and I quote: "I don't know... Predators 2... Predator 3?"

Tell me then, where IN THE MOVIE are there contradictions to P2 which mean it must never have happened? Weve been there, done all this in other threads and im yet to be given any evidence other than "but RR said it". Big whoop, did he have anything to do with the making of Predator 2? Sure he did. By not referencing the second film and only relying on the first, he negates whatever events took place in the second movie. Why do you think the woman talks about Predator in the jungle and not a failed attempt at capture in the city?
Because it was a completely seperate event and she may not have seen the files or know the details of that event. Does every soldier know details of every engagement, across the world, at any time? Does that mean the ones they dont know about didnt happen? No.
Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade doesnt reference Temple of Doom, Once Upon A Time In Mexico doesnt reference Desperado, Transporter 3 doesnt reference events from the previous films, the majority of the Bond films dont have any ties or mentions to other Bond films etc etc. Does that mean all of those have been wiped from canon as well then? Utter nonsense.
I fail to see the logic in saying that because something is ignored or isnt mentioned it automatically means it didnt happen. If you watch Predator, Predator 2 and then Predators, there is absolutely NOTHING in any of the films that contradict with each other to say that Predator 2 never happened. Give me evidence of something that happened IN THE ACTUAL MOVIES that negates Predator 2. You cant. The comeback everytime is "P2 wasnt mentioned" or "RR said so". Doesnt proove a thing.

It is a bit daft I suppose. The way I see it is that the stories and accounts of Dutch and Anna werent taken very seriously and as a result it wasnt exactly hard to come by information. When Keyes team came into contact with one and it turned out it was true perhaps they tightened the screw after that and did alot more to cover up those events, especially considering alot of it happened in a public. With the events of Predator they could have waived it off as there were only two witness and they could claim they went nuts or anything they wanted.

in the comics she had heard rumours and had actually gone out of her way to personally find out more information. signing up for missions in guatemala specially to investigate the events on her own time, that's where she was when her partner got killed, and where she was when she was taken.

The above films you mentioned aren't supposed to be connected. Star Trek, Indy Jones, James Bond, etc...are continuing adventures. They don't necessarily need to reference the previous material. The same concept doesn't hold true of Predator because each film follows the other. There's a reason why P2 builds off of Predator.

Therefore, it's a stand-alone sequel-- meaning that it doesn't connect to any of the previous movies but only the first.
