I am, although I was on the art team for that show, not the writing team.

Most of my stories end up as pen and paper RPG adventures since I don't have the patience to refine my writing into anything serviceable, and most of the dialogue is up to the players rather than me, in that situation.

The second one looks like combo of Xenomorph and Carpenter's The Thing! That is a terrifying prospect, and yet they both re-write the DNA, so in a way they are kindred spirits.
