Time to let it go.  They're dust traps.

Let the past die. Kill it if you have to.

Probably not best to quote a villain, especially one that seems to not be able to make his mind up. Maybe he'll be a good guy tomorrow LOL.

he was never going to do the right thing. Only the thing that serves him.

I always think that hate is a good word for that. The fanbase is just very disappointed. We waited so much time for that movie and everyone was very excited that Shane Black took the stab. After all this time, we got this disaster. I'm very disappointed but I don't feel any hate.

I saw what they tried and I think everyone worked very hard on that movie. The process of moviemaking is very difficult and in this times it is hard to figure out what the fans really want. Predator is a product from the 80s and that stuff doesn't work anymore. They tried to lift it to the level of all this superhero movies. Fox did a lot of mistakes in the last time. I think the first act of the predator wasn't bad. I just needed a few more rewriting. But it seems they gave all the freedom to Shane and Fred.
They tried to fix it in the end  but it went even more to a disaster. But at the end I have respect for all the hard work on that movie. The effects and the actors were great! I just didn't liked the movie. But hate is a too strong word for this.

You may keep those.  Dispose of the others.

The internet goes down. Now what? I can't watch any of my movies until that is back up.

You can download as much as your device can hold to watch offline. But who does that, in anticipation of the internet going down? And of course, Murphy's Law dictates the one you'll be in the mood to watch won't be downloaded. :P

It only allows me to download on my mobile devices, but what's the point when I can watch it on blu ray on my game consoles, on a bigger screen?

I think it's time to stop with the physical media.  Get with the times, people.

Half my collection exists out of weird Asian cult movies which aren't available anywhere digitally. Now what?

Did the Wal-Mart vs. W-Y dialogue make you cringe, too?

That was only in the Special Edition.

I weaseled out of paying for this one too.

They still got the money. Regardless of whether it was yours or not, though. That's not a "vote with your wallet" kind of thing at the end of it all. :-\

Very true. I should have just waited for the movie to come to a streaming program I have. But I went because of the D-Box seating. Do they have those in the UK?

This is the first movie in either franchise I haven't been bothered to buy yet. It was honestly just too much to swallow, and that ending just capped it off. That said, though, I don't think it's wrong for the fans to hate these films and buy them as well. I bought Requiem even though I hated it, but I still had to watch it again at home. I can't make sense of why I bought that but won't buy The Predator though.

Diginal can be free. Only books need to be physical for me, I don't do well with e-books. Maybe if there is a comic that is really good I will get it, but normally they are average so I don't.
