1. Try this: open a second instance of the animation in another browser window and see if you can 'get them' spinning in opposite directions.

2. Someone should create an alien version of this. Spinning alien!

I see no wizardry in this...

I can see the silhouette spinning either way but the shadow of the extended leg is always counter-clockwise.

Or, like Corporal Hicks, you're also slowly losing your mind.

Honestly, I'm waiting for that rampage to come along...We all expect it at work.

Anti-clockwise for me.

Odd. She started going clockwise and then quickly back to anti. What wizardry is this?!

I see her going clockwise, but then I look at the shadow and it's moving anti-clockwise, then I stared at the shadow and saw her begin to follow the shadow and spin anti-clockwise.

I thought this was some kind of GIF that changed the direction, so I refreshed to make sure and looked at her then quickly stared at the shadow for a bit until she began to follow the shadow.

I think the shadow is the wizardry, it will guide you to the truth. Embrace the shadow, Hicks.

Now I am changing it at will...

Thanks for sharing this, Local Trouble.

The first time I saw this, I saw that it resets itself to go clockwise then counterclockwise at random moments.

But now I see her going just clockwise. I look at the foot placed on the floor...well floating right above it, as reference and I always see it clockwise. I can't see it going counter anymore.

Update: Just when I was about to post this, I looked again, forced myself to see it counter and I did for a few moments, only to go back to clockwise. My mind either is tricking me, or actually making sense...somehow.

I can make her go anti-clockwise, but the second I think about it she goes back to clockwise.

I thought about it and it happened.  I love these kind of illusions. They're so freaky.

Have you tried seeing her rotate the other way?
