In AvP it's understandable because Anderson increased their caster size so it's possible the blast was heavier, along with in Requiem, I recall a few scenes where Wolf blasted Aliens as they were jumping him in which case the blast would push them backwards.

Over-powered? Human skulls aren't tough to crack in the Pred's case. No reason why the caster can't blow a head clean off.

Mac got shot in the head and his features were still visable. People in P1 and P2 were shot in the chest and just fell, yet in both the AVP movies the Aliens were sent flying if they got hit.

you don't think a Pred's weapon could do that?
Wow..my bad I quoted the wrong post. Im sorry, and of course I think a predator's weapon can do that. The technology is immense, and could most likely blow off a limb with a low charge. its lethal and deadly. It is plasma which would be pretty difficult to deal with.

Bahahaha, Someone needs to brush up on their anatomy of the human body, just saying.

The scene in the store, and when Wolf blows that guys head off down to the chin in the graveyard.......

his scene made me think that the plasma caster's were very overpowered in AvP-R. Also why I think that the point blank plasma shots aimed at the two Aliens would not have had any acid touch Wolf.

Funny though, because of Wolf destroying the power grid it left the town in darkness, giving the aliens an advantage over the humans.
Lol I know, I thought he was being rather reckless at this point, but I would be pissed off if an alien knocked me off a walkway only to get impaled 30 feet below. Wasn't very stealthy if you ask me.

Especially since the Alien just hobbled away he could have easily chased after it. Then again, it wasn't his intention to blackout the entire city.
I know, I found it funny that the alien hobbled pretty slowly as if he was mocking wolf. He was trying tooo hard, I understand he was under enough pressure as it was. Yeah I know.

My favorite part was when the predator went to the Power Plant and when he fell and hurt his leg and he got up and Roared when the Power Plant was Shorting Out...

I hope you mean side. :P

I also liked whenever wolf blew up the power grid, and roars out of anger. Good scene  ;D
