Bad acting, bad direction, bad creatures, and overall bad execution. For shame Colin and Greg, for shame.

It's too dark. I'm not scared or shocked when I almost see nothing.

Yes we know.  His point was the acid had lost it's potency so quickly after death.

Though it is more or less in keeping with the earlier scene in the cage when the Alien is slaughtered for it's blood.

To add further to Necronoir's point about not being much blood in that part of the body- I've always said that based on the floppy inner jaw, it's like a schlong - when needed it's pumped full of blood and rigid.  When not (or when the Alien's dead) no blood is pumped into it and it's flacid.  Hence the lack of blood leaking from it when Ripley gives it to Call.
Yeah, I've always had that theory too, which has even greater relevance considering what we see the predalien doing with it...

Maybe the predalien went flaccid with all that rough handling from the predator, saving its arm in the process  :D

Script immunity is a piss weak excuse.

Ripley had script immunity in Aliens - but it was still exciting because she constantly had obstacles thrown in her way, and she had to find a way to over come them.  Never saw her take an acid bath and survive because of budgetary issues - because she was never put in such a dumb situation in the first place.
Funny you should mention that, because Ripley is the only other person we've seen who's torn out and alien's inner jaw. There was absolutely no blood on that occasion either, even though the alien only died moments before, so maybe that particular region just doesn't have much blood flow...

Watch aliens again, Bishop says the acid oxidizes (Spelling?) itself after death, completly nuetralizing it.

The thing was dead like you said.  Plus the acid was in the mouth and if any trickled out it wouldn't have done much damage.  The acid loses it's effectiveness pretty quickly once it's dead though.

The real problem with that scene is the fact Ripley blew the back of the things head off and the acid damage to the corridor was practically non-existant.  Mind you it wasn't terribly important - despite Distephano's odd protestations - it's not like there was going to be a hull breach or anyone was going to get acided.

If that were true, Chet wouldn't have been drooling blood.

Comparing AvP:R to Aliens is like comparing McDonald's to haute cuisine. The cheaper the product, the worse the effects to the mind and body.

Just another bad plot hole. I doubt that The Wolf has acid proff shoes and armor.

I was watching a clip of a fight scene of the movie and i notice how when The Wolf smashs the Alien with his foot that the Acid blood not effect him. The acid blood should have burn his foot off but his body had no effect from the acid what so ever.
We've been over this before.

Wolfie has script immunity.
