I thought this game was better than both AvP games for PC. This time, you felt like a Predator and not a Marine with a super-jump.
I thought the storyline (although it's safe to say is non-canon) really brought the Alien and Predator universes together well as well as show the origin of Weyland-Yutani. Kind of made me wonder what happened to Lucretia after she became you-know-who.
I have to completely disagree Tundro. Concrete Jungle lifted most of its content from AVP, only having a few defining features from the classic films, which was a big disappointment in my opinion. Personally, I think they should have left the game how it was in the early screenshots & videos before release, it had more of the classic sound effects & weapons than in the final game.
The fact that this game could have been sooooooo bad but it wasn't was one of the best things about it for me. I usually don't buy a game unless it's been reviewed and scored high but I bought CJ on a whim and I'm glad I did. Still play it now and then too. It feels kind of old schoolish with the classic Predator sounds and weapons and its just plain fun to skin and hang gang members on "Copycat". Priceless.
Despite it had some problems, I still had a lot of fun.
I particulary liked the storyline. It's neat how it connects the Alien and Predator movies along with AvP. Kind of weird and neat at the same time that the future in the Alien movies happened because of technology humans got from Predators.
The costumes were kick ass, I'm always as Jungle Hunter because it's my favorite one.
Presonally I enjoyed the game a lot, even though it's a little slow and the story line kind of lame, I had a lot of fun playing it. I liked all the weapons, very handy!
...for me would be the level of detail on Scarface, it's really the only thing in the game that looks great! Some of the levels are really well designed and fun to do, and the whip-crack effect of the plasmacaster is an added bonus for me.
