All the Marines have different dialogue, that's a pretty good incentive for me to replay it.

Another review from Games TM. They gave it 6/10. Thanks to MFTP for the scan:

A six hour single play with little replay value is pretty disheartening and worrisome. I don't mind if the game is on the short side, but I'll want reasons to play through it a few times.

Indeed. The one posted above is just the online version. Same as the ONM link.

Here's a small excerpt from the beginning of the game. Don't forget to pick up your copy today!

Spoiler
Quote(...)The Sulaco never made it to the Gateway. A search for the ship was under way and it wasn't long before it was located adrift near Gamma Leopris  in the Outer Rim. First response rescue crews performed initial bio-scans an determined that there is one human survivor aboard, however they could not make radio contact with the survivor. That is why you're here today Marines (...) Locate and identify the life form, then secure and extract them back to the USS Sephora (...)

Is Ngamer a part of CVG? It sounds like the same exact article.

Is AvPGalaxy getting a review copy?

The problem with so many of these scores is that we don't know what the basis is for them.  Would an average score be a 5 or, if we are going by an academic standard, be a 7?

By all accounts so far (including the review above), Infestation seems like a solid game, with the only significant drawback being it's length...which leads me to another questions altogether.  Does the criticism about game length also mean that the critics like it enough to wish there was more? Because that's not necessarily a bad thing.   :-\

Dang first mediocre score. Makes me wonder if there is a reason why Sega isn't pimping this game.

Alternately, it might be an intentional nod to the Alien3: The Gun game. WayForward has already said Infestation is going to be chock-full of little nods, references, and in-jokes for the fans.
