Honestly, that was only in the original film. Aliens took away one finger, I believe, and the ADI aliens had even less, about 4 fingers, as seen in this game, which has picked up a lot of the traits from the Resurrection/AVP xenomorphs.

Aliens had 5 fingers with 2 pairs fused. 3 has same configuration as the original. Res they look like the above pic.

Yes in the 2nd pic with Cruz/O'Neal, the flamethrower is oversized. Also O'Neal has a big head with skinny arms. Its just old concept art, thankfully. ;)
