Also, quite funnily, Ripley was banging Ash.

Ripley : That's a pretty big risk for a Science Officer. It's, uh, not exactly out of the manual, is it?

Ash : I do take my responsibilities as seriously as you, you know. You do your job and let me do mine, yes?

Refer to page 35 of JW Rinzler's, The Making of Alien.

Although to be fair, the Parker/Dallas love scene was later written in by Walter Hill not O'Bannon.  New character names and genders were already locked down by then.

Would probably have been quite a controversial scene to put in a movie back in '79.

Also, quite funnily, Ripley was banging Ash.

No big deal. Nothing revelatory here.

Some nice production stills I've never seen before (two from the filming of Brett's death), but that's about it.

I'm going to buy it soon, but considering the commentary of people here, I'm not hopeful.

It's not trying to do that, though.

True. But still, after Anthology's docs, I dont think anyone can say the story of creating the movies is still incomplete

That's the thing, there's always other bits of pieces that aren't out there. Just might not be enough for a full length documentary. I think Memory is at its strongest in the first 40 minutes or so, when it looking at Dan and Giger, when it's interviewing Diane or Carmen. The rest of it feels very loosely connected. It's more interesting as an Origin piece, looking at those people coming together to make Alien.

Especially with the extra bits & bobs that were included in the ENHANCEMENT PODS for the four films.
