I see no problem with it, I just hope they make some extended vents which may involve travelling through the ceiling and under the floor grates. I would think the fact the camera zooms to a first person perspective would have satisfied all the FPS "immersion" nuts out there, but overall I agree with PredatorsInstinct in that it's a nice feature overlooked in AVP 2010.

The 'apparent' decision to not include the 'alien life-cycle' does disappoint me though. It's one of the first things you think of when you hear the word "xenomorph" and although it may have been tough to implement due to balance issues and the like; with a dedicated game mode for the 'life-cycle' I think they could have served the lore (and Aliens movie) well, thus satisfying those die-hard fans out there... just my 2 penneth  ;).

Yes I saw that, and it was disappointing. They don't actually crawl into any vents, the xeno goes up to a hole in the wall and pushes a button to zoom the camera in, and then hops out the other side.

How do they fit in those small cubby holes? Do their long tails hang out in the hallway? Do they become invisible? What happens when two xenos try to enter the same vent from opposite ends? Are they going to tag-team the wall with their banana heads?

Are there going to be any actual vents in the game for the alien players to move around in? So far all I can see are these little holes in the wall and the screen prompts you to push "X" to enter.

You can use vents as short cuts to get from one room to another. You can see Xenos going in one vent and coming out of it in the next room in the videos.

I like this, the only let down from AVP3 is that the vent idea wasn't included in the multiplayer =/

Turrets can be placed anywhere? One must think of bad spawn killing moments...

Shame you can't place the sentry guns where you want though.  I see there's a blue outline of where you have to place it.

That was from older footage and I know someone asked them about it and I believe that the blue outline was there for the sake of the demo and exists for casual players to know where to place the Turret but you can place it almost anywhere.

It was there for demo purpose. Sentrys can be placed anywhere, just need to be tactical about the position and where the Xenos are coming from

Hallelujah!!! This is what had me the most disturbed from the "meh"  E3 demo they showed last year, or whatever year it was. Well, that's one positive thing about this game that I can add to my list of pros and cons.

Ahhhh.....sweet!

In regards to red dots on the motion tracker - I think these are important for the casual player also.  It has to be playable to the masses to make money.

It would be nice to have an option to make them all white for the die hards though.  Sure it couldn't be that difficult to programme!!

This does look SOOOOO awesome.  An Aliens fan's dream!

It does look very scripted, but for that immersive movie-canon feel.....it needs to be.  It can't be a part of the canon, if everyone is getting different endings etc.

Can't decide whether to get this on PS3 or spend bucks on a top of the range gaming computer nearer the time!!

Girlfriend, social life....goodbye....hello Aliens: CM!!!  Where have you been my whole life?!  ;) ;D

Disgraceful excuse if you ask me...I can't imagine any Alien fan buying that excuse.

'Are you having playable facehuggers?'
'No we wanted to just concentrate on James Cameron's film'

Yeah, that film that has the most active and aggressive facehuggers in any film...

I think huggers would have been awesome, abit like tickers in GOW :P
