Going to be trying out these free skirmish rules with some AvP models, since it includes rules to approximate Aliens and Predators very easily, and can accommodate more than two players at a time. I'm hearing really good things about it.

I might use tokens as stand ins for miniature pieces and try unleashed someday. I spent quite a bit of money, but not for 75 xenos lol.

My list there is about twice the standard game size, however the model count ratchets up insanely fast if you use Infants or Stalkers at all (which are apparently both very desirable units). If you do use tokens, make sure they're cutouts that stand up, as Line of Sight is a super important aspect of the game you'd miss with flat chits.

I think I should do the Predators first for Unleashed, since it's comparatively few figures and I don't have to go outside my comfort zone as a painter to get a truly stunning result like I will with the Aliens and Marines. Just lavish lots of attention onto each figure.

My order(s) arrived the other week and I didn't realise at first that the white boxes contained the special figures. I thought they were just packed in there to help fill up space so the rest of them couldn't rattle around too much in the big box they all came in!

Good thing I didn't chuck them away after I unpacked everything before I actually went through and made sure everything was there.
