Charlize was on Ellen and Jay Leno where she promoted Prometheus. Just a heads up. I'm not sure which clips were shown but I can imagine it would be something involving her character and not the Prometheus landing clip. And they very rarely play trailers instead of clips on talk shows.

David's been instructed to carry out some really questionable orders that ultimately sets off a chain of events and puts everyone's lives in danger. David might not have been successful at first, whatever the task may have been, and Peter insisted he try harder. Vickers sensed there's a deep agenda at play and she's pushing David for details. I'm thinking this is only a small glimpse of the last part of her confrontation.
I might be way off but the clip is certainly successful in making me excited to see how everything plays out.

It's an "alright" scene in my opinion, but the music could have been much better.

Just based on the few scenes with Logan that I've seen from the trailers, I really don't like his performance. Some of his lines come off as cheesy as hell or just plain awkward, and in other parts he seems to be overacting like a mofo.
Remember the Q & A that was shown right before the first "official" trailer was premiered? Now I know why Ridley didn't want people cheering for Holloway haha.

You're not off and I agree - it's Vickers putting David down just because she can, him being non-human and all.
The clip seems to suggest that the scenario I've had in mind, with tension arising between Vickers and Weyland with David smack in the middle, is happening for real. The 'try harder' comment must refeer directly to something David is up to (in his lab with the engineer specimens?), considering it was only meant for him.

is a massive amount of, are misguided analysis, theories and readings of what have been shown to us up until this very moment. Sofar, nothing that Riddles, Lindelof or Spaihts have said on the film, have been revealed to be misinformation.
I thought the score was overpowering the dialogue there, maybe just my speakers, but I had to strain to hear what they were saying. Still very excited. One week to go :)

It's a case of juvenile crushes. Vickers likes Weyland and gave David some flowers to deliver to him. There was a note on the flowers that read, "I hope you like these. I can't get my mind off of you." When Peter Weyland got the note, he rolled his eyes and told David to tell Vickers to "Try Harder." Vickers was really eager to find out what Weyland thought of the flowers but David was embarrassed for her and didn't want to break the bad news to her that Weyland was playing hard to get...and probably wasn't interested in her. This is the scene when Vickers demands to get that information from David.

The original dream sequence version of this scene sounded pretty cool. Superfluous, but cool, nonetheless.
