Like E.T, Star Wars and Star Trek being connected because E.T's species is in Episode 1, and R2D2 is seen in Star Trek (2009)
Don't forget, the first Indiana Jones has hyerogliphs of R2D2 and C3PO.
Isn't there a guy dressed as Indy in ep I as well?

Nightmare Asylum

I knew about the hieroglyphics, but never heard of the TPM thing before...Just read something about it being in the podrace scene. Anyone have any pictures?

You see the guy walking up the stairs during the pod race scene, I believe.

Lets not forget R2D2 is also in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, attached to the mothership.

And R2D2 is in ALIEN,
the Millenium Falcon is in Blade Runner,
a Blade Runner Spinner is in Episode II,
the 2001 pod is in Episode I,
Nostromo screens in Blade Runner
and Cyberdyne is in Prometheus...

The Thing could fit in with any of those series'. Nice and contained (even if you include the prequel film and game sequel).

Obviously the alien in The Thing was one of the Space Jockey's successors to the black goo, duh.

Boy, do they have the worst luck whenever they point anything towards Earth.

I have never seen this film - must see!!!!Tah for the tip!

I hate to say this is its a point made before and elsewhere on these forums but Prometheus didnt feel like it belonged to the Alien unvierse but was far more star trek in look, feel and theme.
