Linus Tech Tips did a good video revealing how much you have to spend to upgrade to play just one VR game.

Like all new tech I'll wait for the price to come down, unless this is yet another VR fad that'll fade into obscurity.

Why nobody , just nobody talks about this game being released ?

I heard there was some world changing virus going around the world or something. I dunno.  ::)

Can this even be considered a prequel, given the ending?

Oh God, what did they do?

Well, it's not like I live on the Moon, you know. I mean it's goddamn new Half Life game after what - 13 years ? I expected at least someone talking about it.

Well 43,000 people where tracked by steam and played it upon release. Whether they had below minimum spec requirements or used potato VR headsets, I don't know.

The consensus was not including a non-vr mode hurt game sales.

I'm not sure how I feel about

Spoiler
them resurrecting Eli. Kinda all emotional impact of the ending of Episode 2 down the toilet.

I wonder: if this the first Valve's game without "silent protagonist" ?

Stitch

I absolutely loved HLA. It's awesome.

I'm looking forward to playing through again once tennis elbow has eased.

Ivan The Insect

Giger would have been proud!

I love the HL series. I've played the rest, but not HL:Alyx VR (I dont own any VR gear or powerful enough system, so it might be a while, shortages on parts too even if I was looking to build a better gaming set up).
