Alien: Isolation is less than two weeks away, consequently early copies of the game have started to slowly make their way to the surface including what appears to be a Russian version of the game on PS3. Alien: Isolation has yet to be officially shown on PS3 or X360, making these fan screenshots the first images of the game in any last gen consoles. Be sure to check them below:

Good one mate!
Looks fairly decent from the pictures. Not as crisp or as detailed as the PS4 but that's to be expected.
Lower res & Jagged Edges.
looks decent enough. hoping my pc can run it smoothly enough even on low graphics

Get your eyes checked.
Yeah your right, upon looking properly it doesn't look as good. Still a good looking game.
When running imagine screen tearing and texture pop in
....... These are last gen konsoles pictures what did you expect, does explain to me why they desided to show of the next gen stuff instead.......
Low quality lighting, shadows and fx...robably a slightly lower polygon count. Lower resolution, lower texture clarity, jaggies all over the place. I think I'll be getting it for PC. For that reason and for possible Oculus Rift reasons.
Not too bad looking.
Sold. Just preordered it.
I mean, I don't blame devs for making games for older platforms. People still use them, but I think now is the time to make the move.
Was hoping Redbox was going to have this for rent, but it is not listed at all. Still using PS3, do not have money to upgrade to PS4. It is $10 cheaper .
No way I'm getting a next gen console any time soon. Besides the high levels of jag it looks decent.
looks great ;D
But thats its ORIGINAL resolution. These screenshots are what you will see stretched on your big ass TV.. Thats unacceptable in 2014 imo. Even most of the phones these days are running on 1080p.
Same. I'm getting it for PS3. Not interested in the next generation of consoles right now.
I wonder if it looks this good on 360? I bought a PS4 two months ago specifically for this game. (been playing Wolfenstein and Watchdogs as well) But the PS3 looks really good.
xbox 360 are inferior to ps3 from everything ive seen so..
but if you can get it for pc you might as well.

I'm computer illiterate.
Looks decent tough I want to play it on the Xbox One ... I might have to wait a little longer until I can afford it .
Also expect the shadows and lighting to be worse along with environmental effects such as smoke etc.
I'm so tech-illiterate I really can't tell the difference. That being said, I may force myself to wait until I have a PS4.
Screenshots looks great for a last gen game and while I was sceptical about absence of any info on last gen ,this looks like day 1 purchase for me .
I don't recall a hardcore gamer ever saying that graphics, polygon counts, etc. are the first things that make a game great.
I'm getting mine for the 360 and hoping that the overall experience is something that produces challenge, tension, responsive controls, and an immersive storyline to boot.
Every system that Alien Isolation is being released for has that capability to deliver those things.
My reference point is going to be ACM. Relatively, this game looks way better.
I'm torn as to whether I should buy this game for PS3 or PC. I want to get it for PC ideally (better graphics) but if I do, then I'm concerned about how I would be able to buy the DLC. Do you guys think that I would need to install Steam to do so? Because If so, then PS3 it is!
Of course. There's no non steam version. (well, there is but... it may be illegal in your country lol)

You're going to need Steam in order to activate the game on PC even if you buy the physical version. The Nostromo DLC will most likely be included on the game disc (as was the case with ACM's pre-order DLC incentives). The rest of the forthcoming DLC will probably have to be downloaded from Steam.
The PC version will no doubt be the superior version (as was the case with ACM) so if your PC has the horsepower then definitely go for that version. Steam ain't that bad.

Thank you kindly for the speedy response. If I buy the PC version and use Steam to activate it, do I need an Internet connection to keep playing? I ask because I don't have an Internet connection at my flat. I could take my PC to my parents place to activate the game online after an initial install but I need to know whether I'm required to be online every time I boot the game up?
Sorry for the (probably quite) stupid questions but I'm not very knowledgeable about newer technology.
Damn it, those kids are back again my front lawn AGAIN!
Nope, you just need to activate the game once and then you can use Steam's offline mode indefinitely.
If you want to update the game with the latest patch or if you want to re-install the game then you'll of course need to go online again.

Great, looks like I'll be buying the PC version then (there's a nifty looking steel book on Amazon).
Thanks for the information, you've been most helpful.
No prob, just make sure to set Steam to "offline mode" before you take your PC back to your flat.
Because ironically enough, you need to be online in order to switch it to offline mode. Fortunately, thereafter it will automatically stay in offline mode even if you switch off or reboot your PC.
Some footage from x360 version. Doesnt look that bad:)

The first hour of gameplay?
I watched parts of that first hour. No real spoilers. Tutorial/intro stuff. I wasn't even playing and I could FEEL the tension. Loved it.
That footage looks fine. If that's it on 360 than PS3 will probably even be a half step up.
The video has been removed.
Does anybody have links to another video or some pics of the 360 version???

If you don't eventually see it, just know it was solid. The PS3 screenshots weren't that great looking, but this footage looked fine. What I'd expect from a really good looking game for that generation.
I left my YouTube up so I have the video as it is temporarily streamed.
This game is good. Let's just say that.
I was really just skimming certain parts to see if it held up visually, which I strongly thing it does. Definitely don't want to give the game away for myself.
As excited for this game as I am, I was also excited for A:CM, AvP '10, both AvP movies, Predators, Prometheus, etc. I'll be safely assuming the game is going to get rated somewhere around a 6 or 7 by IGN and the likes of other press sources.
The last time I wasn't let down by an Aliens related game was Infestation. AvP '10 was decent at BEST, at worst it was really underwhelming. I feel like buying it again though just because I have a PS3 and no longer an Xbox, which I had it on before.
EDIT:
Or maybe not: It's over $70 for PS3 on Amazon.

A 7 is a victory by ACM standards. If it gets an 8-9, forget it. Sales will be off the charts.

It's only $10 at GameStop if you have one close
Just drove over to a local place and got it for $8 used. Disc looks really good. Why the hell would a new copy be anywhere near $70? Did it have a limited run like Predator: Concrete Jungle?
Now I got my quick fix till next Tuesday.

I still haven't finished Stasis Interrupted for A:CM. That will be my "quick fix" until Tuesday.
Even though they haven't all been great, I feel really good that we've had a steady flow of Alien-based games over the last couple of years. I recall a time (more than a few years ago) when nothing was coming out at all. This has been refreshing.

I had the season pass for ACM on 360. I hated the game so much I didn't even bother downloading anything after the first DLC release.
But who knows, the game is so cheap now I might get it again and play it through for the trophies.
Stasis Interrupted is a much more enjoyable experience that the main game imo. Better characters, better levels, more tension, etc.
It's still pretty terrible, to be honest.
Speaking of that, I just reminded myself today how much I hate the Predator mission series in AvP. Cannot stand it. Playing it on hard this time too, so that's gonna be fun. First marine mission still pretty solid.

Some of the marine missions weren't bad. Letdown game, but it had some moments.

Yeah, decent game, but perhaps lazy. I mean it completely trashes ACM in retrospect, but it was released alongside the likes of Mass Effect 2 and Red Dead Redemption. I haven't played it for a while, and coming back to it, other than the Predator missions, has actually been pretty fun today.
Just finished the marine's second mission. Pretty tense actually. The thing I like is that the game doesn't throw unlimited, non-stop hoards at you. It's balanced by the fact that they're way harder to kill in this game than in AvP '99, where there were so many, but a burst from a pulse rifle had a really high chance of killing them outright. Plus, back then the AI had them pretty much just running straight for you. I've always been impressed by the Alien AI in the 2010 game. They hide in the shadows and they don't bunch up if they're all out in the open together. Makes it pretty tough. It took me several tries to get past the bridge section at the early part of the level. Getting bum rushed and having to resort to the pistol for the last three or four was really tough.
The sequence going through the hive with Major Van Zandt or whatever his name is. The flamethrower was my best friend. It was a really quiet, tense playthrough and I was doing it on a big TV in a totally dark room. Really tense. Definitely getting fired up to do it with Isolation.

I am stoked. IGN is doing their review FRIDAY MORNING. SEGA must really be confident.

Considering the quality of the footage I've seen so far and that the game would cost me £400 instead of £40 to play it with slightly better graphics I'd have to agree with you.
PC Master Race: no upgrades needed, 2 year old rig runs it smooth in all likeliness at glorious 1200P native.
PS3 is looking fine for some features but this needs to be played at full res, full sounds and no lights.
