Alien: Awakening (Animated Fan Series)

Project: Acheron has been telling an episodic story to bridge the gap between Covenant and Alien while attempting to fix many problems with the prequels.

The first two episodes over-explain the derelict crash. Episode 3 serves as an extended version of the Advent short, which cleverly inserts new information and tweaks. Episode 4 is where the Covenant narrative starts to continue.

They aren't free of issues, but there are some good ideas here and the guy voicing David sounds really good.

I've watched bits of them.  Can't say they grabbed me.  Despite Scuderi's awesome David impression.  That man needs to do a podcast.

Yeah, apparently.  The guy who does the Alien Theory YouTube channel also voices a character starting in episode 4.

It's definetely she! I've heard her again while watching Ep4.

Also i like that little facehugger growing into big egg because it is what i supposed would happen with these two little facehuggers aboard Covenant.

And David mouth animation so amusing. Like it.

While it explains way too much about the engineers/jockeys, it re-inserts mystery into the xenomorphs and fixes the size discrepancy and fossilization issue.

I'm personally okay with David being the creator, but I feel like I'm in the minority, and the size & fossilization issues bug me.  I also just want to see what becomes of David and the Covenant colonists.

So until we get something official, I'm willing to hear these ideas out and see where this fan series goes despite its shortcomings.

Yeah, Clara's voice is quite recognisable.

Episode 5. I hadn't gotten around to watching this one since I thought it was the one associated with Scified but since it's not, I am planning on giving it a watch!
