US Launch Ghetto Countdown Timer!

1 Day!!!!!

I made this thread so that members with the June 8th US release can have a place to go to be excited about the release, discuss details, and basically hide out for the week of hell after the UK release.

It isn't US-only, but just related to the June 8th release, so if you're getting the film on June 8th, feel free to hang out here and get excited with the rest of us regardless of where you live.

After release, I'm sure we'll drift back to the main Prometheus board like the black goo.

I was trying to avoid the Alien franchise lately cause I fouldnt stand the anticipation anymore. I know some people like to have an anticipation and wait for something and have a buildup of some sort, but I never liked waiting, its killin me. But Prometheus now is finally right around the corner

I live in Los Angeles and I've already got my IMAX 3D tickets in hand!

For those of you who live near my neck of the woods, the RAVE 18 theater in L.A. (formerly known as The Bridge) is one of the few legit IMAX houses that will be playing the film. It's a real IMAX screen, not that IMAX DIGITAL fakery that the big chains like AMC and Regal are pimping.
