...That has what to do with what he just said?

Why would he do it for the f**king money? This is his baby, he's not gonna direct this for a paycheck.

Are you kidding me?!

Pvt. Hicks

Nope. I mean obviously he's gonna get some money, but he's not gonna ask for a whole lot.

It's like Arnie with Terminator 3. If you know they're going to bend over backwards for you, ask for every available cent.

You're still in la-la land. They want him, he can demand all the money he wants.

And considering his clout - probably get it.  On top of his producers salary.

The movie people are probably the most interested in is the rumored Untitled Alien Prequel that was discussed heavily last week. Scott had told another site that director Carl Rinsch was going to be directing it, but then just a few days ago Entertainment Weekly reported that in fact, no director had been signed and that 20th Century Fox was holding out hope that Tony's brother Ridley Scott would be directing. "I'm going to call a time out on that one," he halted us when asked about it today, though he still seemed optimistic things would work out. "I don't want to get caught in the middle. We're in process on that, but I don't have enough information to bring it to this table, but we're going to make it."

I didn't realize Scott's bro directed The Hunger, probably the best lesbian vampire movie ever made. XD

But excellent news indeed.

There's never been a really great lesbian vampire movie, but if I remember right, Bowie's character was with her, which makes it more of a bisexual vampire film, doesn't it?

f**king Fox, they have to screw everything up.
What did they crew up?
They didn't approve him so far, they want Ridley to also direct this, i wouldn't call that a bad thing.

Now get McTiernan to also direct Predators and we're all happy.
Yeah, whats the problem with that?

The female vampires in lesbian vampire movies are bi-sexual usually.  It plays on the fear of feminism guys have of their wives dumping them for chicks.  I guess it's just tagged as the Lesbian Vampire for simplicity's sake.  There was an entire genre of these films in the 70's, at least 20 if not more.  Good stuff if you like trashy exploitation films.

Anyways, I'm getting tired of waiting for updated news on this.  I guess Riddley Scott has made himself scarce for the time being.  Fox better be smart enough to work out a deal with him.  This franchise definitely needs to re-legitimized after AVP trashed it pretty good.
