Are any of you familiar with the epic saga of Christian Weston Chandler?

They should have just adapted something from the Archie comics run

After Sonic Mania put the series back on the map after years of missed opportunities, I really thought we might get something better than this. Honestly think anyone of us could have done a better job...

It's a paycheck movie.

Pure and simple.

Wow, won't save the most likely by the numbers script and the baffling decision to set it in the real world.

Granted this seems pretty major, but studios making changes to movies based on early reaction has been around forever.

Saw RJ Palmer's reply getting a lot of traction. That'd be nice if anything happened with that.

Just reshoot the last third of the movie at night, and film endings where Megaman, Mario, or Donkey Kong emerge from the Egg Mobile.

I get the feeling they were going for something more anatomically similar to Rocket Raccoon and lost sight of the fact that they don't have to.

If Wreck it Ralph can get it right, you think they'd be able to for Sonic's own movie

Indeed. The cartoony approach they're going for completely separates them from reality and at that point why bother making anatomical realism...?

So they're going to redesign the model and then...reshoot the whole movie as well? Judging by this trailer, there are plenty other problems.
