Recently, I joked on Facebook that I feel like being the Pennywise of the Alien fandom. Long periods of dormancy, interrupted by short bouts of activity. It's a character flaw of mine I am constantly trying to remedy, with varying success. So, in order to have a new place where people can check out my project (which has been going on for fourteen years, my God...), I decided to create a thread in preparation for the release of version 13. So, if your main port of call is AVPGalaxy (as it should be as an Alien fan), welcome!
I'll keep things short. For those who don't know, the Unofficial Alien Encyclopedia is a long-running project of mine to write a comprehensive guide to the Alien universe. The writing perspective is in-universe, so no making-of or behind the scenes stuff here. This is not a wiki nor is it intended to be. I release the UAE the old-fashioned way, as a downloadable PDF.
