It was ok. Not bad, not good, but ok.
There certainly was something to the concept but it just wasn't good enough.
An R-Rating might have made this a little more fun but it wouldn't fix the story which was kinda similar to The Truman Show.

Cry Macho (2021)
Clint Eastwood's latest. Doesn't disappoint.

Saw it last night with the missus. Definitely doesn't disappoint. Clint at 91 is just a machine. Honestly though The Mule was his last outing in front of the camera. He just keeps on going.

Batman Returns

Caught it on TV. I think I enjoyed it this time much more than on any of my previous watchings. It's a beatiful movie to watch, it's so dense, every frame has so many things going on

Everybody keeps praising Ledger's Joker, how he transformed himself for the role, how he dissolved in it. But I gotta say that - I freaking love Danny DeVito as Penguin because at no point I feel like i'm watching Danny DeVito playing the role. Also, he's a proper nightmare fuel. So great.

Still no love for Catwoman though

Maybe I shouldn't relate more to a creepy half-man half-bird who wants to kil a lot of babies than poor secretary whose boss pushed her out of the window, but I do

Possum

Interesting psychological horror from the creator of Darkplace, starring a clean shaven Fifield and a very creepy puppet. Sort of a British Babadook.

Wait! He was the Fifield actor?  :o
I mean, sometimes I watch movies without knowing anything about casting / direction. Either that, or the fact that the absence of that beard totally fooled me.

That's pretty impressive, Whiskeybrewer  :D

The Warriors of Virtue.  Several friends hadn't yet been introduced to the majesty of the Rooz.

I've watched and own the original, and then only watched the second one once.

And as far as I've heard, I'm not missing out on anything.
