Hey Scott - aka @SM - I know this is 16 years late (probably more) but thanks for doing this amazing Timeline. The graphic designer in me would love to do a visual 'Timeline' representation of your hard work one day!

sm what is the outer rim? someone once spoke of this in a script i believe. may remember wrongly. it referred to some location in space. not sure exactly where i heard this.

Lambert says they haven't reached the outer rim in Alien. Short for outer populated rim I think.

The map wasn't exactly a gift. I was asked to work on the RPG and someone contacted me about a map and I provided it thinking it was part of the work. Never heard much else from my contact and emails went unanswered. Someone else at Free League very kindly contacted me after it came out.

At least in the credits it is stated that you worked on it.
Were you also integrated into the world building of the RpG, i.e. the various companies etc?

Someone does the work, others use it, change it or, in the worst case, annul it according to their own wishes.
that doesn't happen rarely.
yes, I imagine that's frustrating.
