Help solve an argument about AVP2

Theres a yellow crane in a dropship landing zone.

Suspended from it is a chain with a large hook on it, a few meters down from that crane is another crane.

Both are swinging and they set off your tracker.

Sometimes I end up switching the intensifier off and abck on just to take a peek at the motion tracker.

Yes.  That in AvP 2.  I don't think there are any cranes and objects that set off your Motion Tracker in the first AvP.

That's what I thought...although i'm starting to have vague memories of alien's exploding setting off the motion tracker in AVP...*ponders*
