Heck Protomorph is just a term used by scified and not anyone serious.

Heart of Darkness and Building Better Worlds classify the Deacon and its preceding stages as Proto-Xenomorph XX033, or the "Protomorph".

I'd actually like to see a novel featuring them.

Hey Local, have you ever heard of a novel called Cold Forge?  ;D

Yeah but I would wager that was because they got it from Scified, they are already did the damage before the RPGs came out.

I think it's because the entire Sulaco egg question is, in a sense, so absurd that its utter silliness needs to be expressed by simpler, more cartoonish vocabulary.

Personally, whenever I read "Egg on Sulaco" now, I cannot stop thinking about this incredible banner some AVPG member made in the 2010s of Bishop humming a jingle joyfully while carrying the egg onboard.  ;D  I tried to find back the image, to no avail. If anyone has this banner, they'll be my hero.

The Cruentus

The simplest explanation has always been the Queen either carried one (on her back or something) or was able to lay one (after all, she was interrupted while laying so her body probably still had some eggs in it.
The only problem is where the egg is placed and that she is being watched at all times by either Bishop or Newt the moment she reveals herself.

BlueMarsalis79

The simple explanation's to watch it in 4K.

The Cruentus

It won't make any difference.  :P

The Cruentus

You will have to elaborate there, I have only watched the 4k version once.

BlueMarsalis79

I refer to cubed not plural.

The Cruentus

What happens in Alien 3 that makes a difference?

SiL

She's talking about a new fan edit like it's something you should know about because talking plainly is for losers or something.

Local Trouble

But the egg is seared (SEARED!) into our memories though.

SiL

Fried, sunny side down, a little too long so as to become rubbery and unpalatable.

Local Trouble

I can't wait to see how it looks in 4k.

SM

Not interested till it's in 16K.
