Spoiler
Robert Morse shows up.

And he asks for... ICE CREAM! 'Cos he says "ice cream" in Alien 3!

*barks and claps like a seal*

Man, I gotta start spoilering this shit.

EDIT: So I did!
Long overdue, but excellent!

What's overdue? Robert Morse's appearance, me spoilering stuff, or me clapping and barking like a seal?

Quote from: Scott Conover on Today at 04:02:03 AMIs this worth jumping into just for the Alien stuff?
It wasn't for me...really isn't my kind of game, although I'm obviously into Alien and Predator.
Will try again when Predator arrives, but briefly.
Probably some kind of Jungle map then?

How many issues is this?

Quote from: Wweyland on Yesterday at 06:59:56 AMI'm about 6 hours into the System Shock Remake, and from the guides, my main objective seems to be to disable a mining laser, but I haven't encountered anything to imply this. It's further complicated by the fact that I can go to so many decks that are already unlocked.

System Shock 2 had a much clearer structure (the decks would unlock with clear story-related objectives - restore power, lift obstructed, etc.)

It's still pretty great though.
Yeah, 6 hours was about where I was for the mining laser. I'm currently about 28 hours in and I think I'm near the end. I think I have one or 2 levels left, based on the maps.

Might be wrong, though!
The Original and the Remake are fascinating, but I think it shows how much superior the second game was. SS2 I would consider my favorite game ever.

Quote from: Wweyland on Yesterday at 07:00:47 AMIs the third season any good? I stopped at the second.
General consensus seems to be the third season was a return to form after the derided second.

But what do I know, the second season is my personal favourite
I actually liked the second season quite a lot. Vince Vaughn got some criticism, but I thought he was fine.

Yeah, unfortunately the only way you're really going to get any sort of extensive features these days is with the premium/boutique labels – Criterion, Arrow, Shout, etc.

I am incredibly thankful that these exist (the twice a year Barnes & Noble Criterion sale always ends up being a bit of a shopping spree for me) but I do miss general releases from the studios also coming with features worth watching as well.
