Dutch eliminated by US government? (Read 871 times)

There's an interesting part in the prose novel version of Concrete Jungle, where Detective Schaefer, Dutch's younger brother, remembers the last time he met Dutch. During a conversation over drinks, the topic got onto hunting, and Dutch started talking about weapons future hunters might have, like energy guns and cloaking devices. Dutch was never seen or heard from by his brother again after that. Could it be that Dutch got in trouble with the government for saying too much about what he'd encountered back in 1987, perhaps they worried he might leak proof to the public of the Predator's existence, and decided to silence him permanently?

Predator: Hunting Grounds is canon, and you can find out what happened to Dutch in these OWLF Recordings, spoken by Shawn Keyes (Jake Busey).

Podcasts, interviews, where has Illfonic not mentioned it's canon? It's even in the overview when you purchase the game.

But here ya go: :)

"We've worked with Fox a lot to make sure the authenticity is there, and how we can add more to the canon of the movies,"

Interesting, highly interesting, but I wish they'd factored in older expanded universe material.
