Wait, it is? Oh snap. I certainly thought they look very similar but I could've sworn there were some minor differences. And there are. The hands, for one. The fingers are more slender. The shoulders also look different. For comparison:
The side of the head is a bit different as well, the edge of the dome looks more pronounced on that model shot and the tubes beneath it are not quite alike. Alright, so you're probably thinking these are very minor details and how it is that I actually noticed them. Well, along the big headline saying "
GIGER'S ALIEN XENO", when it actually is ADI's, the feet are what really threw me off. I was looking at the last bit as if it was a great big foot and an ankle, similar to the Giger panther, rather than a shin and a hock. I was confused, begun looking for differences to see if it really is a different design, and actually found some. That model just looks less beastly, somehow. Cleaner, more elegant. Like the carving on the hands and legs. I guess ADI just can't make a good suit.
