Hi all!

I'm please to confirm that next week, we will be in Cologne, Germany, for Gamescom!

From Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th August, hundreds and thousands will gather for one of Europe's largest gaming events, where you'll also be able to find the Alien: Isolation team (and me, so I'll see you there! ).

Here's a snap of what we've got lined up for you, as was announced in our news!

READY YOUR SCREENS – AND EYES:

To launch our Gamescom voyage, we'll be releasing something that will really delight those with a visual sweet-tooth.

Our Alien: Isolation Gamescom CGI Trailer – Improvise, and new screenshots will soon be available to chill and thrill you, so keep those eyes sharp. It'll all be available here on our website and on our social channels.

TEST YOUR SURVIVAL SKILLS:

Our gaming booth in Hall 9.1, at the Koch Media Stand B11/C10, will be primed and ready, with 30 pods to pit attendees against our merciless and deadly Alien.

We'll be offering people the chance to experience a terrifying game mode that will catapult players into a world of intense fear. Challenging gamers to escape the chilling confines in the fastest possible time whilst armed only with a flamethrower, a motion tracker and the ability to craft various useful items, distraction and evasion are the keys to success - how will you survive?

The same level was played at E3 in our gaming booth and at San Diego Comic-Con (with an even tighter timeframe of 3 minutes!) in our Alien Egg. Will there be more survivors to be discovered at Gamescom?

For the brave ones that venture to our booth, there will be a choice of playing on PS4s, Xbox Ones or PCs and you'll find some great Alien: Isolation goodies to claim as mementos.

BE A PART OF OUR SHOW FLOOR NEWS:

Our Facebook, Twitter and Vine channels will be busy at Gamescom bringing you the latest buzz from the show, which hopefully will include visitors stopping at our booth!

Nee, our Community Manager will be around to chat and answer questions throughout the show. As well as handing out goodies to some lucky fans, she'll also be sharing daily highlights, including gamer reactions, live show coverage, cosplay snaps and more.

We'll also want to know your top Gamescom moments. Whether it's your thoughts on trying out our game challenge; your impressive cosplay photos or hanging out at our booth with the Alien: Isolation team, we want you to share them with us. Just saw what I believe are some of the screenshots that will be released for Gamescom. There seems to be some terminals at the station that include a series of folders with info and logs from Sevastopol's population which is a nice touch. Also noticed some tech that resembles the medical scanner from Prometheus quite a bit.

They should be released soon for Gamescom along with the CGI trailer. They were labelled to be from PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Still no PS3 or X360 that I noticed.
