Aliens is my favourite, although Alien is arguably the better of the two. I love them both of course. Actually, scratch that: my favourite Alien film is Alien, my favourite film is Aliens. I'd have to really struggle to find a movie with pacing, design, and a combination of a whole bunch of technical cinematic mishmash that I find more simply entertaining and rewarding than Aliens. And that's not to put down other great films, but Aliens is my vanilla, my Times New Roman, my default template for everything I love in a movie.
A^3 and Resurrection are curiosities. Fairly interesting films in their own right. But I don't really include them.
