QuoteAs for the amount of action being the same, you clearly have quite a different definition of the word "action" when it comes to movie terminology.

Quote from: SM on Apr 20, 2011, 04:33:38 AMYeah, I wouldn't call Parker and Lambert loading up coolant and Ripley looking for Jones to be 'action' sequences of any measure against the action sequences of Aliens. By that definition, them walking through the Derelict is an action sequence.

Maybe it has the same number of sequences you can call action, but they're at the opposite ends of the action spectrum, with one ultimately dedicating more time and attention to action than the other, despite sharing 'beats'.I'm flummoxed.
Quote from: SiL on Apr 20, 2011, 05:58:43 AMWhy would anyone interpret "More action" as just meaning more action scenes?
Quote from: SiL on Apr 20, 2011, 06:09:48 AMOh.Perfectly valid reason. What's your first?
