Alien and AvP comic reading order

Sadly all 4 of those still need added to the collection.  Same for pretty much all the alien novels.  This is very much a long term project!  Lol. I really hope we eventually get reprints of the DH Predator novels.  There's no way I can justify their current price.

Heck yeah, it's a kind of fresh madness for sure, but charting the order that emerges out of large chaotic datasets is my jam. I've got this series of chronological recuts of several comics I've put together as I've been working through them, the whole Earth War saga was a blast to sort all out and I've been able to reorient it to be compatible with the William Gibson version of Alien 3. I'd love to get my mitts on a copy of the Weyland Yutani Report as well.

I've got a copy of the report, haven't flipped through it in awhile.  Anything in particular you are looking for from it?

The unique stuff mostly, esp as pertains to the AI's, Alien Theory did some bits on it, there's this really interesting undercurrent throughout the Aliens stories involving the evolution of synthetic intelligence and when it begins to break away from humanity, either in silent parental protection of it or in secretive efforts to obliterate or hobble it, perhaps for humanity's own good. I know the Report has some bits regarding the Synths beginning to build their own sometime in the 2240's which is right around the time of the the Big Deletion, so that pivotal time is rife for story telling.

Preceding that occurrence there's an interesting tidbit from one of the AvP games, 2 I believe, that makes mention of a Supreme Court case involving Synth rights and personhood. There's a ton of mysteries in the lore, from Davis's origins and ultimate fate, CONRAD the big central AI mainframe of WY, to the mysterious creators of the synthetic Ripley Replicant from the Perry novels, right back to the mysterious Benefactors of Ash himself. Not even mentioning crazy-pants David.

Yes, researching this kind of stuff is kinda therapeutic.  Good excuse to re-read and buy the stuff I was missing too!  Lol

For a lot of the DH Predator stuff I just placed them as happening when they were published since they were basically current events story setting wise.
