I know from all the script leaks and behind the scenes shots of The Predator there is a lot of hate and confusion among us fans but guys believe me this movie might just be a box office hit when its out. If you look at the plot of the original Predator it was quite simple rescue team goes in and then they are stalked and killed one by one until one survives. Similarly look at the original Alien it too had quite a simple plot, but it all lies in the execution and building a solid suspense with an A-level treatment. This movie looks big and layered and as for the script leaks it could be an earlier draft as we all know the script goes through a lot of rewrites. This also seems like a fresh take on the franchise.
Fresh ideas for this franchise, of course, but in general for this genre is rotten ideas
I'm sold. I'm 100% sure this movie will blow me away. I'm definitely one of the biggest fans of the original, i know the movie word for word and scene for scene. I quote "You set us up!! It's all bullshit, all of it, the cabinet minister the whole business. You got us here to do your dirty work" on a regular basis for no reason and weird some people out. The jungle hunter in the original will always be my favorite pred, but the idea of an enhanced 10 foot tall predator is pretty cool IMHO. The set photos have been fascinating so far, here's hoping that the 10 foot tall Upgrade will be mostly animatronix and cgi only comes in when executing over the top action scenes.
Any decent film fan doesn't care about any of the details of this movie as soon as they see the name SHANE BLACK.

I agree. i think this could be the fresh take on the franchise thats needed. It will also be extremely divisive. I read that just looking the various In any case, Shane Black is an excellent writer and love the cast. It would have been nice to see Arnold, but what can you do.
I've read most of the leaked plot points and elements and I love every one of them. This is going to be a good Predator movie and something the franchise needs.
I cant wait fot it!! Good cast, Good director, so i have faith. Good to see there are people on here who are positive about this movie and willing to give it a go
