Those videos are from Pete Mander. Very cool animatronics!

Hey man,

Welcome to the forum. I own a warrior suit based on James Cameron's Bug. I bought it as a kit form for a fair bit of money. I think his kits sell for $850 these days.

There is ALOT of work needed to complete the suit. It took me just over 3 months to perfect it. If you have spare time I would recomend a Jay Boden suit. (I'll PM you with details)

Here is the kit:

I just bought my Xenomorph kit. Patiently waiting here patiently!!! Just researching how to make it all come together. Hey Bugz, did you ever get your animatronics in the mouth? There isnt too much out there to get a concrete understanding for me. Im thinking pulley system for the mouth with a servo for the tongue. A combo of what Mander and Pilerud did.

Pilerud helped me out a lot with his setup for the tongue and moving jaw. Im piecing together my suit from monsterroom now. Took me about a week to trim and clean it up.

You can find tutorials for moving mouths online by Googling it. You'll mostly get Furry results, though.

So i've been searching for a good alien costume kit for the past few months and i finally found someone who still makes them in 2019. So to spare the trouble for alot of people in the future who cant find anyone today his name is "Auldeffects" you can find him by just googling him. They look really good as you can see in the images attached getting an unpainted kit was $1150, Thats all.
