New photos from set (warning, spoilers!)

These are set pics, so hard to tell, but my initial feeling is they are just not "super" enough. Plus the Proportions of the SP's look a little..... off? 

The totem pred is spot on though.

Did you like the super concept in the first place?

That's the Irony of it all , I was one of the few guys that actually looked forward to the Predators getting "Juiced up" I was hoping for something a little more...menacing is the word maybe? (in a artistic way though, not AVP style)

I just don't think there's anything instantly obvious to the casual viewer that these boys are nasty work.

Funny that it's turned out in the reverse and the initial haters are probably the ones wiping the sweat off their head.

Yeah I remember that you was one of the few who liked the BSP.

I can appreciate what you are saying but what we see now is probably 60-70% of what we will end up seeing in the cinema. Im sure with some touching up and enhancing by the SFX team they will look more super and evil

I appreciate what your saying but whats to "touch up"? 

Theres no stylized armour, helmets look pretty standard, all i got left is weapons which wasn't really the point of the whole "super" bit.

I'm not hating on them or anything, just a bit miffed at the whole idea now.

They look better than what was described in the script, but much less impressive than the original, or really any Predator from Predator 2.

To be honest, I might even slip in both AVP predators.......  *takes cover*

Oh no, they don't look anywhere near as bulky as the AvP Predators.

They don't look anywhere near as well made either. Hard to tell at this stage.

whats your definition of Super?

For me it was obviously bulky in terms of muscles and bigger in height. I also believed that the new Preds are more violent then regular Preds, which we wont be able to tell until we see the film.

My idea of "super" was a little like that comic book photo that was hanging around here. Something a bit more slick, a bit more evil, Red eyes through the visor, distinctive armour, not bigger though, just the original predator with some stylized design.

Just the way his mask looks, it looks as if the middle one would be the one with the falcon, but I think that was the BSP so unless that's him, I duno...The one on the right, to be honest looks EXTREMELY bulky lol almost like a fat guy, but I think the gigantic helm and big belt has a lot to do with it. The original pred looks awesome, as does the middle one for the most part...adrian brody looks like a Badass, they all look as I imagined them too.

Oh and it looks like there's a "New Painless" now haha
