Seen as its nearly christmas I found a funny review, there nothing like ripping into AVP merry christmas enjoy.
Good lord does this movie suck! Not only does it suck but it destroys any positive impression you ever had of the movies that it follows. HR Giger and James Cameron probably never saw this movie because they would have committed suicide if they did. You will too if you are one who follows either the Alien or Predator franchises or both.
I can't believe that some people are actually rating this movie 10/10. They are obviously employees of Fox. Ask anyone in real life and I'll bet that none of them will do anything less than puke when you ask them about AVP. This is the worst movie ever made. It is worse than you can possibly imagine. There's nothing to be said about the writing, direction, acting and sfx that hasn't been said before. Just avoid this movie.
Forget afghanistan and Iraq. Bush should just send the air force and bomb Paul Anderson. This movie has probably made Fox more enemies than real terrorism could have ever done. This movie is probably the perfect weapon to use against your enemies. Disguise it as something else and make them see it. They will never be the same again.
Consider yourself really lucky if you have'nt seen it. If you are rich, do the world a favour by buying as many DVDs of this movie as you can and burning them in bonfire.

Alien vs Hunter was the worst movie I have ever seen. I'd rather watch AVP 50 times in a row.

At least Troll 2 was enjoyable by laughing at it. Alone in the Dark was just fu**ing stupid to begin with.
Don't forget Battlefield Earth and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. Spawn (The Live Action movie) and Boogeyman where crap as well.

AVP was okay. Not as sucky as as people make it out. But not as good as the first 2 Alien & Predator.
Jaws the Revenge sucked but i love the scene in the 3rd one where it crashes through the glass to get into the control room at the end. never will there be a more fake looking scene, except in Blue Demon. Blue Demon=HOrrible stain on humanity. it causes wars because it sucked so bad. AVP easily bests those three movies
Every Jaws besides the first sucked.

I liked AvP , and I love Predator and Predator 2 movies too. Sure, AvP does have shortcomings such as the Scar Predator's mediocre face design and the bulky appearance of the three young Predators. But these doesn't stop me from liking it.

It true that's one of the shortcomings presented in the film too, and there are many funny lines and quotes in the movie such as the french woman says that the gun has the same principle of a condom and Sebastian remarking a dirtied bottle cap as a archaeological find.

I actually have some kind of a 'confession' to make, and it is that the review actually made me question the sanity or the mental age of the reviewer. I mean, come on just look at his review. He says that this movie is far more dangerous than terrorism and doesn't even care that millions of civilians and soldiers lost their lives to the Iraq War.
This is really getting sicker by the minute. And this guy is actually showing contempt for the lives lost in the war.

Actually, if I am rich, I would do the world a very good favor by donating to the poor and helping out sick children rather than following his moronic advice by wasting money on many DVDs of this movie and burning them in bonfire. If he doesn't like the movie, then don't watch it, simple.
...He was just exaggerating the situation. I probably would have tried to add some humor to any review I did on this film, as it would be riddled with curses and pessimism. Some of you are acting as if this guy is making a serious suggestion that we stop the war overseas so that we may bomb a British man for making a bad movie. Was it in bad taste? Sure, but people say things I find to be insensitive all the time and they can legitimately say that because they are entitled to their freedom of speech.
I hope some people here never read A Modest Proposal. They might walk away with the notion that Johathan Swift thought eating babies was a good thing.
