I'm restarting the AvPGalaxy game night for AvP on the 360. This time round we'll be playing on Tuesday at 8pm GMT. It would be good for players to have both map packs as both of them have some fantastic levels on them that I love to use for when we're doing player games. Does it take a long time to find matches on the 360? because the ps3 sure does!
Well also do plenty of player matches with the dlc maps. Matchmaking has been pretty decent on 360 recently.

8PM/20:00 UK England Time is 12PM Seattle, Washington Time.
U.S. has 6 different time zones from the west to the east. Although Hawaiian and Alaskan time zones are rarely a TZ that comes up...
It's mostly Pacific (furthest west), Mountain, Central, East. They are 4 hours apart from west to east.

I would like to. Furious is an absolutely fantastic map, and Crashsite is pretty good. I recommend buying it.
Me and my brother share online and he dosent like avp that much so i think we will need eqaul share of microsoft points them i dont have enough right now though.

I agree. I LOVE the new maps. I have to say I really enjoy the maps from the older Swarm Map Pack, too.

So much fun tonight guys, I'm actually improving as a Predator and so many laughs were had. Cannot wait until next time. :)
I've just come off because I've been playing almost 4 hours and we've still got a pretty full party left behind. I'd like to thank everyone who came. Was nice seeing some old faces (am looking at you Badblood/Hamster) and I hope you guys keep coming regularly. We had some pretty f**king fun games. The convos never let up.
I'd just like to say again, everyone get the DLC. Especially Bughunt. We only managed about 3 DLC matches because a couple of guys didn't have them. The best maps are on there IMHO and everyone should have them.

I havent been on this site for a while now. Quite surprised at just how much Prometheus news there was!

I am from Slovenia, witch is in the center of Europe and I host my server almost every night with DLC maps.
My server gets full usually, since i got 50 Mb\s of download and 5 Mb\s of upload(I know its nothing special for the UK but that's cutting-edge technology in my country...).
My server starts with INFESTATION(all of the maps, starting with "Crash Site" and finishing on "Docks") and after some memorable rounds it changes to TDM(20 minutes with no score limits and FF off)
I am lucky to know people that have no interest in winning, so we all play just to fully enjoy the game/franchise with role-playing encounters...
P.S.:My gamertag is III Light III ...everyone that wants to join me and my irreplaceable friends just message me!

I loved the 80 point match on ruins, that was so great. I remember I did a dummy-heavy and tricked BADBLOOD88/Suicidal Hamsta. That was funny. ;D
Also, my leap from the tower onto an Alien (who was in game chat) and when I landed on him and did the stealth kill I cried "Suprise, motha f**ka!" :D

There'd be no point. Situations change all the.time. besides its nice to have smaller groups sometimes to play on the smaller maps like Furious. :) I love Furious.

You shoud install it to your hard drive. Then it'll run fine.
It's my Xbox that won't read it, nothing wrong with the disc because it works on other Xbox consoles just fine.

yea i had the exact same problem just after the game came out. and when i finally got the game to run it would crash and say disk unreadable halfway through a mission. truly i feel your pain :'(

Throughly enjoyed last night. That's probably the longest we've ever played. Some great games, some fantastic moments. And once again, I got Badblood/Hamster with the flame thrower! Muwaaaahhhhaaaaa. I am Flame Man! Poor Kable though... too good for his own good :P
And once again, I have to say this! Please buy the bloody DLC! I wanna play on Furious and Crashsite. Fortunately once some folk left a bunch of us managed to get a great Docks game but comeon guys! Get the DLC!

connection issues i am very afraid of having connection problems ruining my fun i cant talk to hicks in a party connection just between us and last week i barely got in the avp group because of connection so if anybody can help whether i need to change ip manually to configure with you guys but in the long run this scares the s##t out of me
Due to Hicks' scheduling issues he won't be able to run the Game Night tomorrow, so I'm the back-up host. Providing I can get the disc to work of course. :D

And just to follow on from what you said, if it's at all possible, can everybody try and get at least one of the map packs for next week? We're not kidding when we say that they have some of the best maps. And if you're a fan of our 100 point games, then you need Crash in your life. Please! I'm begging everyone to get the map packs. We get so many come in and then one or two don't have them. Yeah, I'm talking to you Sweeps! Crashsite, Furious and Docks are fantastic. Totally worth it.

domination was excellent survivor i wish people played seriously but we were goofing around was funny and a good time to talk but domination on refinery with out balanced skilled team was awful and i feel violated lol and where the hell was vul i wanted to get him so bad all together it was a good night there has been better though

I don't play much anymore but when I did Bughunt was the map-pack with the most demand, it's easy to see why, it has some of the best maps. If you can only get one I'd suggest Bughunt but if you can get both do that. :)

i know it mentioned a:cm having co-op with up to four players but is there online competitive multi-player for sure? I'll re-check what it says about a:cm later to find out. its a shame about avp slowing down but with so many of us here, we can still play through use of Death Match, Predator hunt, Domination and infestation and as for team DM then simply create two parties and try to find one another.
avp was always slow when trying to find matches but it has gone worse a bit.

The PS3 game events I hosted had lots of people, if you really want more players to join you then I advise you remind them on an occasional basis of the event. A lot of people have really short memories and the reason they don't show is probably just that they forgot what day it is.
I will certainly start playing it again on Tuesdays since i have been of recently and found lots of player on it, apparently you need to click "any" as a game type instead of narrowing it down to "species team deathmatch" etc i found quite a bit of games with many players. Lost the last game due to traitors who either team killed me on purpose or were letting the other team get points by letting themselves get killed >:(

i actually found some decent number of players on the 360, you must not be picky on the game type though.
I think I'm gonna try and play some more on Xbox. I only made a few game nights cause they were on British time (2 in the pm for me, lol) but I miss playing once in awhile.

I stopped doing this a while ago. It just died down. I don't think I can do any at the minute, I've taken on a shift based evening job that means I can't guarantee I could do the same day every week.

Just make sure you have a fairly high end computer also, if you want editing to go smoothly. Also i'd plan on buying the Haupaugge Gaming Edition PVR.(Which Is what I use) comes with all the cables you need and is ideally built for game capture.

I would say either to be honest, if both were of equal level I'd say a laptop, because you can move it around freely when your trying to transfer footage onto your computer, or transfer straight onto a hard-drive on your PC or laptop. I use a computer simply because all my consoles and stuff are linked into my TV anyways.
