Good question. I'm mostly curious to see how much of an antagonist David is doing to be.

I've been reading up a little more on the Ark and I have to wondering if this'll build into the Engineer's hatred of us more. Apparently the Ark was destroyed by the Babylonians. Perhaps the Ark was some sort of Engineer device or an actual law that they handed down for mankind to follow?

They could also be quite on the nose about it as King David is related to the Ark and we have our own David...

No it would be on the nose if Harrison Ford ended up being the elder engineer who opens the ark. Although to take the ark myth literally, the thing probably contains some form of knowledge that man was not supposed to accept until ready for. Yea and some dumbasses opened it.
