Quote from: Kimarhi on Dec 07, 2024, 07:41:16 AMI think the commandos probably work better as a DLC type of story over having main character energy.
Their goals are kind of limiting. Unless the stories writing is just downright brutal from your character's perspective.
You are probably trying to contain and hide infestation.
Which is what every WY unit does in the history of WY games and stories, and half that mission set is exactly what the Marines would be doing. So you won't interact with any civilians, because you are dicks which limits your interactions even more, and if you make them suddenly find consciences halfway through the story.......been done a million times as well.
The only way I think it could be interesting is if you are actually fostering an infestation on a world, but I don't know how well being a mass genocidist people would really dig.

Quote from: solace97 on Dec 06, 2024, 02:52:34 AMI don't mind it being barely visible like how it's done in the movies, I'm just not a big fan of how it looks in merchandise or fully lit where it's really obvious and just prefer no visible human skull.Quote from: Acid Splash on Nov 11, 2024, 06:23:50 PMI prefer no skull appearance wise, it makes it seem more intimidating. The skull to me gives it too much of an identifiable personality that takes away from the Lovecraftian nature of the beast.Even if the skull is barely visible beneath the dome?

They were pretty thin wires, almost like kite string.
