Clint Mansell knocked another one into the stratosphere.

Salt The Fries

Well, on top of my head:

Popol Vuh's for Aguirre and Nosferatu, Ry Cooder's for Paris Texas, Neil Young for Dead Man, Danny Zeitlin for The Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Cliff Martinez's for Sex, Lies, and Videotape, and Michael Brook's for Affliction. Lalo Schiffrin used to put out amazing soundtracks as well.

Philip Glass foreva!!!1!!
Damn right, though he was probably the most "poppy" minimalist and I actually prefer Steve Reich or Terry Riley (though they didn't do movie soundtracks, but that's beyond the point), but Glass at his best was fine too.

Everything in the Mass Effect 3 game.

Aaah, gotta love the classics. I'm so thrilled Fox finally came to their senses three years ago and started releasing the series on DVD.

Speaking of classics:

If we're talking old intro themes, this was (and is) my favorite.

To me, this is just as good as William's theme. :)

First Blood

I agree. Those Bruce Timm shows were so damn good, Batman, Superman, Justice League. Shame there's no new ones on tv currently. Hell, Cartoon Network used to show reruns of Superman by Max Fleischer from the 40s! Talk about going back in time. And even their intro was pretty good.
