Hmm. Wasn't the other Predator still wearing his bio-mask and it was raining? Sure it seemed to be mourning his friend/partner/parent/child ala Wolf in AvPR but it would be awfully silly to me if I learned that a) Predators cry and b) Predators could cry through their bio-masks.
Oh, I wasn't referring to human tears. And I don't remember that bit in AvPR, but the body language here appears more deliberate and intense than casual remorse. More specifically I'm referring to the consistent unique sounds it's making when Herrera approaches from behind, distinctly different than the sounds given to the one who was wounded and coughing.
Then it doesn't even look back at Herrera when he approaches, and barely even reacts to ship that comes, though it's surely well aware of both; that just strikes me as so damn despondent.
I may be off the mark, but personally the longer I look this is what I see, your mileage may vary, we have so little to go on.
Oh, sorry about that, you meant the "haff" noises. Yeah, possibly, I can see one interpreting it that way as crying.
For me, the Copper masked Predator was just stabbed with gauntlet blades and was bleeding, plus whatever fire it took from the teams, so it making "haff" noises didn't seem to stray that far from the "kaff" and other various noises we heard wounded Predators make.
So I still don't take that as weeping or crying, but rather possibly weasing or just breathing heavy, but that's just me.
But clearly he wasn't happy about doing the killing of his kin.
And here's Wolf in AvPR taking a moment to mourn his fallen comrade:
