I really like the trailer addition. It's the best quality besides the uber-slow IGN version that I've seen. The site itself is lacking, but for now the trailer will whet the appetite just as well. The button SFX's and the graphics aren't too bad either.
I'm glad I turned 18 on the 12th. That way I don't have to...umm...exaggerate my age for verification. ;)

Coming up close with Aliens and The Terminator.
Nothing beats playing AVP2 while playing the predator theme tune in a seperate window.

This forum alone has 4,000 members. If all of them are aware of this movie and go see it, it still doesn't constitute for the 300 million people who aren't aware of its existence. Even if you add in the entire diehard fanbase, it still wouldn't matter. The best way to resolve that would be to start advertising and sprucing up a website for people to go to.

Another effective way of promoting the movie would be to make an AVP-R game for the 3 next-gen consoles and PC. This is just common sense.
Thing is it benefits the movie cause advertising and all of that but most movies made to games suck but it would bring in a lot more people.

Those wallpapers are so obviously photoshopped, it's embarrassing that Fox would be that lazy. I can literally see the old AVP Alien and Predator poster images in both wallpapers.

They moved it back a day to the 26th because not many poeple will go to see it on christmas day, good move on that one.
It's better than what we had when the site first went online. It has everything I was expecting it to have. A few wallpapers and a different look. The closer we get to the release date, the more they will add to the site.

The alien wallpaper really does look like shit, and the alien and the predator wallpapers are re-used and photoshopped wallpapers from the first movie.
Fox is really trying to save money where they can.

If nothing else, the new Alien's teeth are a gigantic improvement over the old one. Those looked liked store-bought Dracula teeth painted silver. :)

Disappointed with it all to be honest. The site/wallpapers are nowhere near as good as the AvP ones. I guess we have the lower budget to thank for that. I first thought I was on a stargate site when I finally loaded it up.

Yep...I noticed that too...I'm guessing it's because the final movie hasn't been screened to the MPAA.
I like the intro + design to the site although it does resemble a Stargate. I just can't get what little is there to work.

Its time for something new in that game. Ther's absolutely no variables, so it was an easy game to beat.

Try downloading a newer version of Flash. It used to do that to me too.

Not sure if it has been talked about here yet. Has anyone seen the Create your own Pred alien on the official site?
It is kind of strange to me, you choose what parts of an alien and a predator that you want and after you are done you play the game as your created pred alien. Apprantly when you catch a human there is a face hugger on them, I imagine that if you get killed then you start where you caught a human and you are a fully grown alien.

I disagree, but to each his own, i think it was a nice gag thing for the fans.
yeah, i went to the site a few days ago...it was not what i expected stupid create a predalien shit! but other than that, the site is obvisouly better than AVP...the only thing AVP had was 'vote for who will win' which was stupid because you never got the damn results!!!
but uh, yeah that thing on the Transformers website where you send a vioce call message to your friends from Optimus Prime was okay
The facehugger thing was clever. The 'create' thing was nicely presented, but ultimately did very little. It was basically mixing and matching segments of body and all you ever ended up with was either Alien with armour on it or Predator with a long tail.
It could have been more interesting than that. As it was, they might as well have not attempted it.
