Processor REALLY should have been a bug hunt map from the get go. There also should have been eggs with facehuggers, like the
Hive map from AVP10's survival mode.
Definitely agreed, JokersWarPig! I really can't think of a better way to re-live the films than by having a full-blown, movie accurate experience in the Atmosphere Processor. Tribute comes very, very close, but it goes without saying that for the Bug Hunt horde mode to reach its full potential, it needs to have a Processor map as well. What makes this even better is that Bug Hunt is the only mode with bots, which means that long after the servers are turned off or the multiplayer population dies off, we can always either play alone or use system link to go on a Bug Hunt on these maps many, many years from now.
In other news, although I don't want to steal anyone's thunder, I want to inform everyone that Shev has just finished making a petition-related video that is really, really special. As a matter of fact, I think it's so good, that it deserves its own write-up, and to be shared with anyone who considers themselves a fan of the Aliens film. Even if fans are not into video games or want nothing to do with A:CM, seeing such a well-done tour of Hadley's Hope should speak to ANY aliens fan. Without further ado, here is Shev's video, which is titled "A tribute to tribute," or what I like to call it - a love letter from Demiurge Studios to Aliens fans all over the world. I hope you all enjoy, and continue to get a sense of why we want Demiurge to come and apply this same type of love to other iconic movie locations, such as Fury 161 or the Atmosphere Processor, in Bug Hunt.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PN5fh4qQv_E#P.S: This video even got favorable feedback from Demiurge Studios on both their Facebook page and the comments section of the video! Please give it a watch and remember to sign and share the petition if you would like Demiurge to release one last wave of Bug Hunt!
