You're only 18!?

You should definitely be doing this for a living. The designs are brilliant.

Thank you so much! I mean, wow... you guys have really inspired me to push forward with this project with a much happier attitude. Your kind words really mean a lot to me.

Please tell me that you have shown your work around in order to get a job somewhere where designs of yours can be seen. Video games, movies, etc.

ShadowPred, I'm afraid not. The only art I've really "shown" outside of the internet was the remake to The Future... My Vision (the one with the ship landing on a futuristic structure), for the 2012 Congressional Art Competition.

But I guess it's about time I do... I'm 18, unemployed, and hurting for money, after all.
I was kind of hoping to finish the movie first, then make behind-the-scenes vids, all to hopefully use them as demo vids to get me in the film industry, but who knows if that crazy "plan" will ever work.

Dude, you art skills are f**king insane. Especially when designing things. Dear gods, you are too talented. Get to work on a portfolio brutha!

Why did I find out about this thread only now?  ???

Amazing work as always, Travis. ;)

By the way, anything new upcoming? Or do I have to keep crying myself to sleep every night over your old artwork?

Really impressive stuff. Is everything completely freehand or are you using other tools as well?

Thanks!

Yes, it's all freehand.
Except for colors... I like to digitally color things with Paint.NET. Maybe other slight modifications as well, for example:

Those were in reply to RidgeTop. In reply to you, I posted something new, just scroll up a bit.

Anyway, I'm starting to storyboard stuff.

Here is what I have so far:

What we are seeing is somewhere towards the end of the film.

Will continue when I go to bed.

Happy 4th!  ;)

My gosh, the detail in your work.  Do you use references in your work?

Fox needs to hire you for a Prometheus sequel if they get around to that. Stat.
