I couldn't stop humming the theme after I left the theater.

I fail to recall a single bar of melody.

Same. Nolan and Zimmer go together like syrup and pancakes; this very well may be my favorite score of his... both the Cornfield Chase and Spinning Dock tracks as posted prior are fantastic examples of how he electrifies a scene with power.

Also how he rips shamelessly from others :P

Not that I mind. I liked the music, but I can't remember it a week or so later.

Zimmer is pretty much the most innovative composer when it comes to blending electronica/samples with orchestral elements. I always find his tunes to have the greatest hooks. The main theme for this movie won't leave my orbit... and I'm so glad.

If anything bad can be said, then that I found the soundtrack mixed too loudly for the theatrical release, but apparently their working on a modified version for the Blu-Ray stuff.

There are many words I would use to describe Zimmer, both good and bad, but "innovative" is definitely not on the list. He is quite derivative.

I felt that, for the majority of this film, the score didn't really seem to fit. There were moments when it was perfect (most of the space sequences), but a lot of it didn't really seem to add... anything. It was just kinda there. Was one of his weaker soundtracks.

OK, watched it. I think it's a fine movie, I didn't particularly love it, my main complain is that I think it could have been a little shorter... I mean, the story is good and everything, but there are at least two "suspenseful" parts that long for a little too long... Got to say they kind of bored me... Just a little a little shorter. Whatever. Loved the "five dimensional" construction by the end, sci-fi lovers have always wanted to see something like that on screen, ha ha.

Ten year thread bump, but fitting for the announcement of the film's ten year anniversary rerelease. 8)

Cool. The Third Born is obsessed with this flick. Be good to catch it in a cinema.

I missed out on seeing this in theaters the first time around, glad I'll get another chance to watch it on the big screen.

I got to see it in 70MM at my IMAX back on release. Really hope they bring it back in that format here for this re-release. Oppenheimer played in 70MM here for its first couple weeks, which should hopefully bode well for Interstellar...
