I know I'm mega late for this, but I started watching The Sopranos finally, and finished season 1 last night.

Wow, even one season in I can see why this is considered one of the best drama series of all time.

Has those cool mafia-movie elements that draw you in, but is mostly a really interesting character study with surprisingly deep themes on identity and trauma. Amazing stuff so far.
