Just would have to fix the chest/name tag areas and sculpt some ears. Done. Rest is cake repaint.
So is there anybody out there that has attempted this at all? I'm tempted, but am interested in what people came up with

Quoting these pics here. The original model is a 28mm scale (ish) Prodos Aliens style Warrior, there were quite a lot of tiny little details to add or remove. Obvious stuff like the feet, hands, and dome, but also smaller things like detailing on the thighs, adding the "jaw cables" etc.

Found this...

Still Collating...

That was a great custom.

Has anyone thought about using the Assassin predator to create a better scaled Engineer? Since it's a muscular body of similar proportions to the body of the Engineers, why not? Some sanding and molding over maybe and it could look great I think. That maybe one of my future projects...

I'd love to see that.

Since this didn't get any love in the other thread, I'll put it here
I'm actually working on a custom Dutch 2025, from Hunting Grounds, using a 3D printed head.

There are also custom printed versions of the mask Dutch has on his shoulder.

Where is the head from?

I sculpted it in blender and printed it on 2 different 3d printers with 2 different kinds of resins.

That's the best looking neca alien head I've seen. Wow. Very cool. How long did it take to composite this and put it all together. Also very fascinated with 3d printers, how much does it cost you to do something like this and is it possible to make an entire figure just based off yawing the 3d printer?

Overall this was about a week of sculpting and 2 days printing different scales and tests. I know some artists who've made articulated figures in the past, but i feel that for the effort and cost of material you'd probably be better off getting an actual neca figure. 3d printing is overall an expensive hobby, and if you don't intend to learn how to 3d model the price just goes up from there.

Mind sharing the price? If not no worries

I'm not quite sure what your asking, the price of what exactly? Can you be more specific?

The cost of making the prints, not the printer itself but if you printed out one or more alien heads for instance
